Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX50 test at Digital Camera Info

panasonic lumix dmc fx50 reviewThe Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX50 has been tested by Digital Camera Info. The Lumix DMC-FX50 is an ultra compact point and shoot camera with 7.2 megapixels resolution and a very large 3 inch display. Interesting features include the 3.6 times optical zoom lens, supported by image stabilization. On top of that the FX50’s lens allows wide angle shots (28mm, 35mm equivalent). Supporting ISO speeds of up to 3200, the Panasonic FX50 should be well equipped for low light or fast action shooting.

The review results:
“[…] The chunk of plastic and metal is less than an inch thick and slides into pockets and purses for easy transportation. […] Better still, it is easy to use. […] Everything about the FX50 isn’t this good though. Its images are so noisy that they look like painted pictures with messy brush strokes. The auto focus system doesn’t handle low light well at all, so pictures are bound to be blurry despite the image stabilization and wide manual ISO range.”
