Nikon D50 review at DCRP

The Nikon D50 digital camera has been reviewed at DCRP.
The summary of the review recommendation:
“The Nikon D50 is a very good entry-level digital SLR that performs just as well as the more expensive D70s, though you’ll lose a few features along the way
Build quality is excellent and it does not feel “cheap” at all.
Camera performance is superb: just flip the power switch and the D50 is ready to go.
Photo quality is very good overall […].
Finally, images were a bit sharper than on most D-SLRs.
While it doesn’t have as many features as the D70s or the Rebel XT, the D50 will satisfy both the beginner and the enthusiast. ”
