“Overall, the Coolpix S3 is a beautiful camera, with an impressive size, a few useful options and capable of taking great pictures. The faults, however, are the flash, grainy LCD, and its steep price tag of $479 CAD. This camera particularly appeals to the minimalist because of its awesome size, but since there are cameras that are better value propositions, such as ones from Olympus or Canon, I would wait for its price to drop before picking the Coolpix S3 up.”
