Konica Minolta DiMAGE X50 review at Photographyblog

Photographyblog offers a review of the Konica Minolta DiMAGE X50 digital camera.
This is part of the review conclusion:
“Despite the lack of more advanced settings like being able to set the aperture or shutter speed, the speed and simplicity of the Konica Minolta DiMAGE X50 is a real attraction.
Unfortunately, with the images downloaded and viewed at 100%, the drawbacks of cramming 5 megapixels into such a small form factor and small CCD (1/2.5-type) are revealed. There is ultimately a price to pay to have such a small and portable camera, and that price is the less than stellar images.
This is a real shame, as in all other respects the Konica Minolta DiMAGE X50 is perfectly suited for the new photographer that it is aimed at, and indeed for any photographer that wants a small and responsive point and shoot model. ”
