Kodak EasyShare V610 review at digital trends

A review of the Kodak EasyShare V610 digital camera is available at digital trends.
The Kodak EasyShare V610 is compact dual lens digital camera offering a 10x optical zoom by combining 2 lenses in the same camera body. This is the second dual lens camera Kodak has developed, after the V570. The Kodak V610 lenses cover focal range of 38-114mm and 130-380mm, 35mm equivalent.
The results of the review:
“This one is a toughie. The EasyShare V610 has a number of features that make it attractive: looks, thinness, a 10x optical zoom, built-in Bluetooth and Perfect Touch technology. I really have problems with the LCD screen and the hiccough as the camera “hands off” from one zoom lens to the other. And the camera is pretty slow saving images to the card; overall image quality was average, nothing to write home about with more noise that you should expect from a 2006 digicam.
Pros:
* Thin 10x optical zoom digicam
* Bluetooth enabled
* Built-in Perfect Touch correction
* Easy to use, setup
Cons:
* Zooms “skips” from one lens to the other
* Poor LCD screen in bright sunlight
* Only 135 shots per charge
* Slower response than competitors
* No compression options
* Few manual controls”
