A review of the Canon PowerShot S3 IS camera has been posted at imaging resource. The Canon PowerShot S3 IS offers exposure modes for both point and shoot photographers and more experienced users. It is equipped with a 6 megapixel image sensor and a 12 times optical zoom which is supported by an optical image stabilizer.
The review conclusion:
“The long-zoom digital camera market is getting pretty crowded these days, so it takes a lot for a product to really stand out. Despite the stiff competition though, the Canon PowerShot S3 IS is indeed a standout product. […]
If you’re looking for a good all-around camera with great features, a long zoom lens, image stabilization, and a really excellent, well-integrated movie mode, all at an affordable price, there really isn’t another model on the market that’ll fill the bill the way the S3 IS does. The Canon PowerShot S3 IS is highly recommended, and an easy Dave’s Pick in its category.”
