Canon PowerShot G6 review at DCRP

A review of the Canon PowerShot G6 digital has been posted at DCRP.
This is an extract of the review result:
“The Canon PowerShot G6 is a very good choice for those who want a full-featured camera and photo quality that rivals (but does not equal) what you’d get from a digital SLR. While I was concerned about noise and purple fringing on this super high resolution 7.1 Megapixel camera, I was pleased to see very smooth images with very little noise.
In terms of performance, the G6 is on par with the competition.
The G6 has a full suite of manual controls[…].
If you want a high resolution camera without the noise and purple fringing issues of the 8MP models, this may be the right choice. “
