The ultra compact Canon Powershot A530 offers 5 megapixels resolution and a 4 times optical zoom. Despite its small size, the Powershot A530 has some impressive features, such as an optical viewfinder, both automatic and manual exposure modes, as well as standard batteries as a power source.

The review recommendation:
“I’ll make this short and simple, the A530 is a watered down A540 which sells at a lower price. Things like battery life and image quality are still good and the full manual mode is a plus. Performance was snappy too. […]
My point here is, if you’re looking at the A530, then go for the A540. It’s a better deal.”
