The Luminous Landscape have tested the Pentax K100D dSLR camera. The K100D features optical image stabilization, 6 megapixels resolution and a 2.5 inch LCD display.
Here are some of the review impressions:

A review of the Pentax K110D is available at CNet. The Pentax K110D is an entry level digital SLR camera with a 6 megapixel image sensor and a 2.5 inch LCD. The K110D is compatible with K-mount lenses.
With 7.5 out of 10 points as a review result, the Pentax K110D is a “very good” camera.
The review conclusion:
“The good: In-camera optical image stabilization; relatively compact; great mix of auto and manual features.
The bad: Auto white balance is warm in tungsten light; no raw-plus-JPEG mode; only 6 megapixels.
The bottom line: With its built-in image stabilization and comfy mix of manual and automatic features, the Pentax K100D is one of the best dSLR bargains on the market.”

A review of the Sony Cybershot DSC-N1 has been posted at dpinterface. The Sony Cybershot DSC-N1 is an ultra compact camera that offers 8.1 megapixels, a 3x optical zoom and a very large 3 inch LCD display.
The review verdict:
“The Sony N1 is a fantastic camera. […]
1. The 8 megapixel imager produces surprisingly good images (at ISO 800 too!) and 2. the great 3 inch touch screen is sharp and viewable… and the N1 has above average battery life even with that LCD. The other versatile features include a powerful flash, some manual controls, an excellent movie mode and enhanced playback features. […]
Overall, the N1 receives a definite recommendation from me.”

The compact point and shoot Olympus FE-140 has been tested at megapixel.net. The Olympus FE-140 is equipped with 6 megapixels resolution and a 2.5″ screen.
The reviewers scored the FE-140 8 out of 10 points for its functionality and 7.4 out of 10 for its photographic qualities.
The Positives:

* Inexpensive.”
The Negatives:

DCRP have reviewed the Samsung NV3, a stylish ultra compact digital camera with 7 megapixels resolution, a 3 times optical zoom and a 2.5″ display. Expanding the functionality of a digital camera the Samsung NV3 also acts as a media player that plays MP3 music and videos.
Here are some of the review results:
“The Samsung NV3 is a convergence device if there ever was one. It does the usual camera things like take pictures and video clips, but it also can play your MP3 and video files just like your iPod or other portable media player. And while the interface is a little clunky, the NV3 succeeds in doing all of these things pretty well. It may not be the perfect ultra-compact, but this stylish camera is good enough to earn my recommendation. […] Photo quality was very good.”

The Nikon Coolpix L3 digital camera has been reviewed at imaging resource. The Nikon Coolpix L3 is an entry level point and shoot camera with 5 megapixels resolution, a 3 times optical zoom and a 2 inch LCD display.
The review results:
“As a basic snapshooter, the L3 performed well, capturing sharp images with a good dynamic range and punchy color. […]
The camera is a bit on the slow side, however, lagging behind some of its competitors in shot to shot speed and overall shutter response. […]
So overall the Nikon Coolpix L3 is a mixed bag with enough good qualities to warrant a modest recommendation, but enough cons to keep it off the Dave’s Picks list.”

With 7 out of 10 points the Samsung NV3 receives a “very good” review rating.
The review verdict:
“The good: Solid images; handy media-player functions.
The bad: Heavy fringing; awkward movie format in media-player mode; unresponsive zoom rocker.
The bottom line: This camera-cum-media player doesn’t excel at any of its functions, but the Samsung NV3 could be a solid choice if you don’t want to buy both a camera and an MP3 player.”

The Samsung Digimax Pro815 is a dSLR like ultra zoom camera with impressive features, such as the massive 15 times optical zoom, the very large 3.5 inch display and the camera top display that allows you to snap pictures while holding the camera at waist level.
The review summary:
“The Samsung Pro815 is a truly superb camera, with superior build quality, outstanding design, a great range of versatile, creative and in some cases unique features, very good performance and outstanding picture quality. The only real let-down is the sluggish autofocus, but other than that it’s a serious alternative to a digital SLR.”

The reviewer’s opinion:
“In short, I thoroughly enjoyed using the EX-Z60, but didn’t like the images that it produced, except those taken in near-perfect lighting conditions. The Casio Exilim EX-Z60 may impress you with its good looks, but I doubt if the photos that it takes will do the same. Although the low price makes the EX-Z60 good value, I would still look elsewhere.”
