concord eye q 5345z reviewA review of the Concord 5345z digital camera is available at Steve’s Digicams.

The review verdict:
“With its robust performance, 5-megapixel imager, small size, durable aluminum-alloy body and very good image quality, the Concord 5345z packs a lot of value into its MSRP of $379.99. It’s a camera that the entire family can use, but its simplicity doesn’t diminish the usefulness of its more advanced features. We think that you’ll enjoy this all-around family camera.”

concord eye q 4360z reviewSteve’s Digicams has published a review of the Concord Eye-Q 4360z digital camera.

The result of the review:
“At an MSRP of $199.99, Concord makes a tempting offer with the Eye-Q 4360z. The high-resolution 4-megapixel imager, however, can not overcome this camera’s poor autofocus, limited flash range, low shutter speed with flash, and unusable LCD.”

Concord 6340z review at Steve’s Digicams

concord 6340z reviewA review of the Concord 6340z digital camera has been posted at Steve’s Digicams.

The opinion of the reviewer:
“Bottom line - the Concord 6340z offers a tempting value at only $229.99. Its high-resolution 6-megapixel imager however, can not overcome this camera’s poor autofocus, limited flash range, unsatisfactory movie mode, and unusable LCD. If you’re in the market for an entry-level camera under $300, your needs would be better served by a camera with lower resolution, but a better balance of image quality and features.”

Leica Digilux 2 review at dpreview

Leica Digilux 2 reviewDpreview has posted a review of the Leica Digilux 2 digital camera.

This is an extract of the review results:
“When you first handle the Digilux 2 you can’t help but be impressed by its build quality and logical control layout.
Image quality was good, resolution as high as we would expect from a five megapixel sensor […].
If it weren’t for this camera’s astronomical price I’d be more than happy to give it our ‘Highly Recommended’ rating, hence if money is no object and you like your brand labels go for the Digilux 2 […].
Recommended.”

sigma sd10 reviewA review of the Sigma SD10 digital camera has been posted at dpreview.

This is part of the review conclusion:
“The SD10 is certainly a significant and capable digital SLR, especially thanks to some of the improvements made since the SD9. It offers a level of image quality Bayer sensor cameras just can’t match (pixel for pixel).
[…] There’s nothing wrong with the Sigma mount but most people have Canon or Nikon lenses.”

Kyocera Finecam SL300R review at imaging resource

kyocera sl300r reviewA review of the Kyocera Finecam SL300R digital camera has been published at imaging resource.

Here is an extract of the review:
“[…] Its performance doesn’t really live up to its appearance […].
Its images are a bit on the contrasty side, but its color and resolution are both good, and for the casual snapshooter, the short battery life may not be that big an issue. If you’re looking for a cool-looking camera, and don’t need long battery life to support extended picture-taking excursions, the SL300R could be just what you’re looking for.”

Here is part of the review conclusion:
“[…] The Epson PhotoPC L-500V offers the ease of point-and-shoot simplicity and the quality of a 5.0-megapixel CCD and 3x optical zoom lens. The camera’s large 2.5-inch LCD monitor […] is easily the highest-resolution, sharpest-looking LCD I’ve seen on a digital camera to date. Image quality is excellent […].
Its good build quality, exquisite LCD display, excellent color, sharp photos made the L-500V a Dave’s Pick […].”

Sanyo Xacti C1 review at Photographyblog.

sanyo xacti c1 reviewThe Sanyo Xacti C1, also known as Fisher FVDC1 CameraCorder, has been reviewed at Photographyblog.

The review conclusion:
“I was going to award Sanyo Xacti C1 the 4 stars out of 5, until I checked both the recommended retail price and the street prices. A street price of over £300 is simply too high for a 3.2 megapixel camera, even if it does have the excellent advanced video capabilities of the Sanyo Xacti C1.
Having said that, the Sanyo Xacti C1 is certainly not a bad camera, offering a combination of good still image and video performance in a stylishly designed body that is both well-made and portable.
If MPEG-4 quality video is a must-have for you, then the Sanyo Xacti C1 is definitely worth considering.”
