A review of the Olympus EVOLT E-500 digital SLR camera is available at MobileTechReview. The Olympus Evolt E-500 is an 8 megapixel, full frame digital SLR camera. It provides an outstanding amount of features for its price segment and the most prominent feature is its Dust Reduction System that removes any dust particles between the image sensor and the lens.
The review conclusion:
“The EVOLT E-500 does give a lot of bang for the buck, especially if you go with the 2 lens bundle. It has some of the most user-friendly controls we’ve seen, that won’t scare the pants off of point and shoot folks, feels good in the hand, looks and feels well made and it takes very good photos. The feature set is more advanced than we’d expect from a camera in this price range, which is appealing for more serious photographers and gives novices room to grow.”

A review of the Olympus FE-115 digital camera is available at Steve’s Digicams. The Olympus FE-115 is an easy to use entry level camera with 5 megapixels resolution, a 3x optical zoom and a small 1.5 inch LCD display.
The review conclusion:
“You’ll be happy with the Olympus FE-115’s SHQ images, but frustrated by its slow shooting performance and poor low light AF performance. If most of your shooting is outdoors, the FE-115’s street price of less than $150 makes it a fairly good value, especially for children whose needs may demand nothing more than a fully automatic point-n-shoot.”

Summary
On the whole the Olympus MJU 810 offers good picture quality. Weatherproof digital cameras are few and far between so this one is clearly an option if this appeals to you. Dcviews have posted a review of the Olympus Stylus 810 digital camera, also known as the µ [mju:] 810. The Olympus Stylus 810 is a compact digital camera in a protective body which doesn’t make the Stylus 810 an underwater camera, but protects it from rain and dust, making it an ideal outdoor camera. The Stylus 810 is equipped with 8 megapixels resolution, a 3x optical zoom, a 2.5 inch LCD display and optical image stabilization.
The review conclusion:
“Thanks to some clever automatic functions this Olympus Stylus 810 is a point-and-shoot model that can be used by any member of the family and deliver sharp and crisp results every time. Its compact size, durable construction and weatherproofing means it can be used under all circumstances and carried with you wherever you go.
Image quality of this 8-megapixel model is excellent and its versatility, coupled to its user-friendly controls and multiple exposure modes, make it an ideal companion for those who are looking for a quality compact that can be operated without having to worry about extensive or complicated camera settings. And if you were planning to buy a compact for the holidays anyway, we think this Olympus would not be a bad choice at all.”

A review of the Olympus EVOLT E-330 dSLR camera is available at DigitalCameraInfo. The Olympus Evolt E-330 is the world’s first dSLR camera equipped with live LCD view, allowing you to monitor your motive on the LCD display. The Evolt E-330 also features Olympus’ dust removal system, that sits in front of the 7.94 megapixel sensor, and image stabilization technology.
The review verdict:
“Live preview on a DSLR is very impressive, and the EVOLT E-330 has the best live preview we’ve ever seen, period. It has less display lag, it’s brighter and clearer, and it allows more accurate manual focus than any of the best premium compacts, like the Sony R1 or the Panasonic Lumix FZ30. […]
In terms of imaging performance, the E-330 loses its competitive edge against similarly-priced DSLRs. For $1100, the resolution is there, but the high ISO performance and low light capture still hovers in an area that’s more competitive with compacts. The camera’s true Achilles heal, however, still seems to be its outdated autofocus system. […] For $1100, there are many DSLRs out there that out-perform the E-330, however, there’s currently only one that offers interchangeable lenses and live preview.”

LetsGoDigital have posted a review of the Olympus SP-500 UZ digital camera. The Olympus SP-500UZ is a 6 megapixel ultra zoom camera with a 10x optical zoom lens. On the other hand, the macro mode of the SP-500 UZ has a minimum distance of only 3cm to the subject, which makes this camera quite versatile. Equipped with both automatic and manual exposure modes, the Olympus SP-500 UZ caters to the needs of both photography novices and more experienced photographers.
The review conclusion:
“By the end of the trial period, the Olympus SP-500 UZ had made a mixed impression on me. The image quality and functionality was convincing enough, but it is just a fact that the specifications of contemporary Megazoom cameras are more extensive than ever. The Olympus SP-500 UZ misses several features found elsewhere, the worst being the lack of an optical image stabiliser. For the time being, the Olympus SP-500 UZ is an all-round digital camera, and if it is priced considerably lower that its competitors, it will be a perfect find for an experienced photographer in search of a second camera or a compact version of their digital reflex camera. Starters will be less convinced and will probably look around to see what the competition has to offer.”

A review of the Olympus E-330 digital SLR is available at TrustedReviews. The Olympus Evolt E-330 is the world’s first dSLR camera equipped with live LCD view, allowing you to monitor your motive on the LCD display. The Evolt E-330 also features Olympus’ dust removal system which is compatible with a wide range of lenses, and image stabilization technology.
The reviewers scored the Olympus E-330 7 out of 10 overall and they write:
“This is a camera that you could use professionally and be assured of good results. Although it may look a little strange, it performs as well as any of its direct mid-range competitors. It has a full range of professional options, including excellent colour options. The live monitor view is a very welcome bonus on an excellent camera.”

A review of the Olympus SP-320 is available at Steve’s Digicams. The Olympus SP-320 offers 7 megapixel resolution, a 3 times optical zoom and a large 2.5 inch LCD display. The SP-320’s movie mode is supported by image stabilization for a more steady picture and the reduction of the effects of camera shake. The Olympus SP-320 features a variety of exposure modes, ranging from fully automatic to fully manual, which makes it suitable to novices and more experienced photographers alike.
The review verdict:
“While the Olympus SP-320 offers some very appealing features, it disappoints with its lackluster performance. On the positive side it delivers excellent image quality and has exposure modes to suit the needs of all users. With a street price of $299 or less, I feel it offers an OK value for an entry level 7-megapixel model.”
