The Olympus Stylus 720 SW is an ultra compact all weather digital camera with 7.1 megapixels resolution, a 3x optical zoom and a large 2.5 inch LCD display. It is also shock proof and offers useful features, such as image stabilization.
The review conclusion:
“In terms of features and picture quality the Olympus MJU 720SW is a pretty standard digital camera. The fact that it is waterproof to a depth of 3m and shockproof from a height of 1.5m makes it stand out from the rest. If these features are important to you then I cannot think of many drawbacks of this camera and it more or less has the field to itself.”

The compact point and shoot Olympus FE-140 has been tested at megapixel.net. The Olympus FE-140 is equipped with 6 megapixels resolution and a 2.5″ screen.
The reviewers scored the FE-140 8 out of 10 points for its functionality and 7.4 out of 10 for its photographic qualities.

Trusted Reviews have tested the Olympus FE-150, an easy to use entry level camera that won’t blow the budget. The Olympus FE-150 features 5 megapixels resolution, a 3 times optical zoom and a 2.5 inch display.
The little flattering camera test result:
“For a major name in the photographic industry it is a shockingly bad camera, with very poor image quality, dismal low light performance, virtually no features or options (one of which didn’t even work), the worst movie mode I’ve seen in a year and performance that can only be summarised as crap.”

Megapixel.net have published a review of the Olympus Evolt E-330, the world’s first dSLR camera equipped with live LCD view, allowing you to monitor your motive on the LCD display. The Evolt E-330 also features Olympus’ dust removal system, that sits in front of the 7.94 megapixel sensor, and the anti shake system.
The reviewers rate the E-330 8.6 out of 10 for its functionality and 9.4 for its photographic qualities.

A review of the Olympus SP-310 digital camera is available at CNet. The Olympus SP-310 is a compact 7.1 megapixel camera with a 3 times optical zoom and a 2.5 inch LCD screen. The SP-310 offers automatic exposure for point and shoot photographers, but also shutter priority, aperture priority and fully manual exposure modes for the serious amateur.
With 6.8 out of 10 points the Olympus SP-310 was rated a “good” camera.
The review impressions:

“Olympus’ FE-130 may be appealing because of its under-$160 street price, but its image quality suffers even in comparison to the entry-level FE-115. If low price is a major consideration and you can tolerate slow shooting performance, I would even suggest the FE-115 as a better alternative.”

“While we’re crazy about this capability and the external design and build of the 720 SW, image quality is somewhat lacking when compared to other 7 megapixel cameras on the market, with muted color and a noisy texture to solid colors. The good side is that few shooters actually use resolution this high, even printing up to 8×10 size, and few of these defects are strongly visible at those resolutions. […]
While its image quality isn’t as good as it could be, the Olympus Stylus 720 SW makes up for it with versatility, durability, and just plain good looks. It is currently the best underwater offering on the market, and the only shock resistant model, period, making it a Dave’s Pick.”
