A review of the Nikon Coolpix S6 is available at LetsGoDigital. The Nikon Coolpix S6 features 6 megapixel resolution, a 3 times optical zoom and a very large 3 inch TFT display. The S6 is ultra compact, easily fitting into a pocket and the design is stylish, with a high quality, all metal body.
The review verdict:
“I found working with the Nikon S6 digital camera an exceptionally pleasant experience. The camera truly lives up to its word; ease, excellent image quality and superb innovation packaged in a stylish design. Although the Coolpix S6 camera does leave Nikon room for improvement on a few minor points, such as adding optical image stabilisation, and extending the optical zoom range, this is something for a future generation of Coolpix S-series cameras. The Nikon Coolpix S6 is a camera for those who appreciate ease and value design, whilst keeping a keen eye on innovation. Recommended!”

A review of the Nikon Coolpix P3 digital camera is available at DCRP. The Nikon Coolpix P3 is a compact digital camera with 8.1 megapixel resolution, a 3.5 times optical zoom and a large 2.5 inch LCD display. The Coolpix P3 has some impressive features, with Wi-Fi capability and a vibration reduction being the two most outstanding ones.
Here is a summary of the review verdict:
“Camera performance was average in most areas, with decent but unremarkable startup, focus, and shutter lag numbers. […]
Thankfully the Coolpix took very good quality photos. They were generally well-exposed, with accurate colors and low purple fringing. Things were a bit soft for my taste, though, and redeye was a problem. Noise levels were reasonable given the resolution of the camera, and you should be able to make 8 x 10’s all the way up to ISO 200. […]
Overall I liked, but didn’t love, the Coolpix P3. Still, if you want a portable, high resolution camera with image stabilization and Wi-Fi then definitely check it out.”

Battery life is excellent: approx 180 shots with alkaline, 600 shots with lithium, or 320 shots with NiMH EN-MH1 (CIPA standard).
The Nikon Coolpix L2 is targeted to entry-level photographers desiring automated operations in an ultra-compact, simple-to-use and affordable digital camera. Nikon’s unique D-Lighting and Best Shot Selector help the beginner get the shot in less than ideal situations. Recommended for sunny outdoors use.”

A review of the Nikon Coolpix S6 digital camera is available at DPInterface. The Nikon Coolpix S6 features 6 megapixel resolution, a 3 times optical zoom and a very large 3 inch TFT display. The S6 is ultra compact, easily fitting into a pocket and the design is stylish, with a high quality, all metal body.
The review conclusion:
“With many attractive functions in playback plus an LCD with a wide viewing angle, this is one good camera to show off your photos. And now, you can even transfer them wirelessly to your computer with the built-in WiFi feature. Speaking of photos, image quality here is good except for corner softness and red-eye.
The Nikon Coolpix S6 lacks good battery life, a strong flash and fast performance. […]
This camera is a great one for point-and-shoot group snaps but not at night or for sports.”

Dcviews have reviewed the Nikon Coolpix S5 digital camera.
The Nikon Coolpix S5 is an ultra compact digital camera and features 6 megapixel resolution, a 3 times optical zoom and a large 2.5 inch display. The Coolpix S5 is equipped with Nikon’s PictMotion technology, allowing you to view your favourite photos in a customized slideshow with music.
The results of the review:
“Despite some rather obvious shortcomings such as the tiny controls and reflective LCD screen coupled to the average lens quality, the Nikon S5 would still make a nice addition to the family’s photographic gear as an elegant ladies’ camera, to capture the kids at play or to record snapshots on holiday. Its durable built and solid construction will ensure many years of trouble free use although we feel the price is a bit steep compared to the competition.”
