A review of the Konica Minolta DiMAGE A200 digital camera has been posted at Steve’s Digicams.
Here is an extract of the review conclusion:
“Its excellent image quality, 8-megapixel resolution, flexible exposure system, Anti-Shake feature and manually-operated zoom lens are combined into an attractive and durable package that photographers of all skill levels can use. […] The A200’s Anti-Shake feature is built into a camera that in most cases costs less than an image-stabilized dSLR lens, making it a great value if you shoot a lot of natural light images at low shutter speeds. “

Steve’s Digicams has published a review of the Konica Minolta DiMAGE A2 digital camera.
Here is part of the review conclusion:
“In our opinion, the A2 is superior to this year’s 8-megapixel entries from Sony, Nikon and Canon in terms of optical quality with noticeably less chromatic aberration problems. If you’re looking for a feature-rich, high-resolution, digicam with an exceptional electronic viewfinder and image stabilization, the Minolta DiMage A2 is worthy of your consideration.”

A review of the Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z5 digital camera is available at dpreview.
The abbreviated review conclusion:
“It’s fast and easy to use, offers reliable exposure and focus […] and is excellent value for money.
Noise is a serious issue at any ISO setting over 100 […], but with the effective Anti-Shake system you can get away with using the lower settings most of the time [except in low light conditions].
There are other 5MP cameras offering a similar zoom range (and image stabililzation) at a similar price point, but none that also sport a flash shoe, 30 fps VGA movies and lightning fast focus.
Recommended.”

A review of the Konica Minolta DiMAGE A200 digital camera has been posted at dpreview.
The review verdict:
“There’s much to like here - the useful 28-200mm zoom range, the superb mechanical zoom, the wealth of photographic feature, the effective Anti-Shake system and the excellent handling […].
[…] Unless you shoot in low light a lot at the long end of the zoom - you won’t see problems in the great majority of your shots.
Overall however the wide feature set, Anti-Shake, handling and excellent pricing may be enough to convince you that the DiMAGE A200 is the right camera for you.
Recommended. “

A review of the Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D digital camera, also known as the Dynax 7D, has been posted at dpreview.
Here is part of the review:
“There’s definitely been a lot of clever thinking implemented into this camera […].
[…] The 7D’s Anti-Shake should give you a stop or two’s advantage with any lens, without adding bulk, weight or cost.
Image quality was on the whole very good, it’s as good as the best six megapixel digital SLR’s […], detail levels are high at low sensitivities and noise is low higher up the ISO range […].
[…] An excellent digital SLR which is an excellent ‘photographic tool’ and isn’t just another ‘me too’ product, it offers a genuine alternative to the Canon / Nikon influence on the market.
Highly recommended.”

A review of the Konica Minolta Dimage Z2 digital camera is available at dpreview.
Here is part of the review results:
“Fast, fun, and easy to use, the Konica Minolta Z2 offers a compelling combination of features (including some pretty meaty movie capabilities) and image quality at an excellent price.
If you […] don’t intend to do a lot of prints over 8×10 inches, and have a steady enough hand to live without image stabilization, the Z2 offers one of the best price/performance ratios on the market today […]. Excellent. “

“One thing improved was overall performance, the DiMAGE A2 starts up quickly […] and has good shot to shot times. The biggest noticeable improvement [over the DiMAGE A1] is in auto focus speed […].
Overall however the wide feature set, unique Anti Shake, high quality electronic viewfinder and other features may be enough to convince you that the DiMAGE A2 is the right camera for you […].

A review of the Konica Minolta Dynax Maxxum 7D digital camera is available at imaging resource.
This is an extract of the review conclusion:
“[…] The 7D’s user interface is one of the most powerful and fluid we’ve seen to date.
Considering that this system effectively turns all your lenses into anti-shake models, the higher cost of the 7D’s body relative to competing models seems very well justified.
A slight tendency to underexpose […], an occasionally hesitant AF system, and overly aggressive noise suppression at high ISOs.
Overall, a camera that we have no qualms about recommending […].”

Here is the abbreviated conclusion of the review:
“Delivering good color, sharp pictures, fast shutter response, and excellent battery life in an affordable package, the Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z20 offers excellent value for the money in a long-zoom digital camera.
Its range of exposure control from fully automatic to fully manual […] make it a good choice […] for people wanting a camera that they can “grow into” as their skills mature.
All in all, a nice little camera, and an easy choice as a Dave’s Pick.”
