The Fujifilm Finepix V10 has been reviewed at ephotozine. The Fujifilm Finepix V10 is an ultra compact 5.1 megapixel camera with a 3.4x optical zoom and a very large 3 inch LCD screen. As one of the first cameras the Fuji V10 also comes with in built games.
The review conclusion:
“The Fuji Finepix V10 is a love-it or hate-it camera. The unusual handling may be enough to put some people off on its own. Having said that the quality of the LCD screen is excellent, as is the quality of the images and it’s straight-forward and responsive to use as well.”

The Fuji Finepix A500 has been reviewed at cameras.co.uk. The Fujifilm FinePix A500 is an inexpensive and easy to use entry level digital camera. The A500 is equipped with 5.1 megapixels optical resolution, a 1.8 inch LCD screen and a 3 times optical zoom.
The conclusion of the review:
“Points I like:
Ease of use
Viewfinder
Where it is not so hot:
Picture quality
Shutter lag
Very basic movie mode
Summary
A polite way of describing the Fuji Finepix A500 is cheap and cheerful. It is a very simple camera and very easy to use. The problem is its picture quality. This is well down even compared to other cameras in this price range. Long shutter lag times are also a big turn off.”

“With a 6-megapixel imager, good image quality and uncomplicated automatic and scene modes, the Fuji F470 meets the photographic needs of the beginner in a stylish and lightweight package. While it has no optical viewfinder, its LCD is well implemented, especially in conditions of low ambient lighting. A review of the Fujifilm FinePix V10 digital camera is available at Steve’s Digicams. The FinePix V10 is an ultra compact, square shaped camera with 5.1 megapixel resolution and a 3.4x optical zoom. The whole back of the camera is taken up by the large 3 inch LCD screen. As one of the first cameras, the Fuji V10 features built in games.
The review summary:
“While I have not been a great fan of super-sized LCD’s when they’ve come at the expense of optical viewfinders, the V10’s 3-inch display is more than just another “size matters” marketing statement; Fuji has exploited its presence with improved features - a 30-thumbnail display, zoomed instant review, Post Shot Assist Window and “Natural Light & With Flash”. The camera’s 5-megapixel images are very good, and its 3.4x zoom more versatile than its competitors. Add to that usable sensitivity settings of ISO 800 and 1600, and Fuji has created a high-quality point-n-shoot that tackles a variety of shooting situations with ease. If you’re in the market for an easy to use compact camera and like large LCD’s, the Fuji V10 should be high on your list.”

A review of the Fujifilm FinePix V10 digital camera has been posted at DPInterface.
The review conclusion:
“So, the Fujifilm FinePix V10 has some built-in games on the huge 3 inch LCD for photographers to keep themselves busy when there are no photo opportunities. But other than that, it doesn’t impress me much as you would have expected from reading the last few paragraphs. I’d say the Sony T30 makes a good alternative but if you need manual controls and big zoom, then go for the Canon A700. Overall, the V10’s features are interesting but performance is not. If you still want to go Fujifilm, the might I suggest the F30 - It may have a smaller LCD and less zoom but it has much better noise characteristics and full manual controls.”

The bottom line: The FinePix V10 is a decent compact-sized shooter with a large LCD monitor once you scale the learning curve of the unit.”

A review of the Fujifilm Finepix E900 digital camera is available at PhotographyBlog. The compact Finepix E900 is equipped with a 4x optical zoom and an impressive 9 megapixels resolution. With its range of exposure controls from fully automatic to manual, the Finepix E900 can be used by both point and shoot photographers and experienced photographers alike.
In the review the Fuji E900 was given the highest marks, with 5 out of 5 points.
The review verdict:
“The FujiFilm Finepix E900 is simply one of the best compact digital cameras that I have reviewed. It offers excellent image quality with a useable ISO range of 80-400 and few chromatic aberrations, fast operation in most areas of performance, and a full range of creative shooting modes. The 32-128mm lens is a little wider than most compact cameras and the overall design is intuitive to pick-up and use. Best of all, the E900 is now available for £199 at Amazon UK, which is amazing value for a 9 megapixel camera that actually delivers on most of its promises.”

PCWorld have reviewed the Fujifilm FinePix V10 digital camera. Featuring a very large 3 inch display, the ultra compact Fujifilm Finepix V10 offers 5.1 megapixel resolution, a 3.4x optical zoom and built in games.
Achieving a ‘fair’ review rating, the FinePix V10 scored 69 out of 100 points.
Here are some of the review findings:
“This camera offers impressive performance in low light because of its high sensitivity. The FinePix V10’s ISO range, which tops out at 1600, makes it easier to take photos of dimly lit subjects without using the flash. […]
In our lab tests, the V10’s overall score for image quality was about average. Most impressive was the V10’s exposure accuracy, but its images scored lower in sharpness than did most other point-and-shoots we’ve tested. In particular, images produced by the Fujifilm FinePix E900 were much sharper.”

Steve’s Digicams have reviewed the Fujifilm FinePix A500 digital camera. The Finepix A500 is a compact and easy to use entry level camera. It is equipped with 5.1 megapixels resolution, a 3x optical zoom and a 1.8 inch LCD monitor.
The review verdict:
“The Fujifilm FinePix A500 was a mixed bag. It produced good quality indoor and outdoor images, but its versatility is limited by its relatively weak flash and poor autofocus performance in dim lighting. But at a street price in the $150 range, cost-conscious consumers might overlook its shortcomings and consider it a good value, especially considering its 5-megapixel resolution.”
