Overview
The Kodak Easyshare P712 is a dSLR like digital camera that is equipped with an impressive 12x optical zoom lens, 7.1 megapixels resolution and a 2.5 inch LCD display. In addition to the LCD display an electronic viewfinder is available. Other useful features include a high quality movie mode that records up to 30 frames per second, and the optical image stabilization to reduce the effects of camera movement or long exposure times, which can result in blurred photos. The Kodak Easyshare P850 is a dSLR like ultra zoom camera, equipped with 5.1 megapixels resolution, a 12x optical zoom lens and a 2.5 inch LCD display. Apart from the LCD display the P850 also features an electronic viewfinder. The Kodak P850’s optical image stabilization allows you to use the full extent of the long zoom, especially in low light conditions, by reducing the effects of camera shake. The image stabilization not only works for still pictures but also in movie mode. While the P850 offers point and shoot functionality for inexperienced users, the camera clearly caters to the serious photographer, with its manual exposure modes, manual focus and support for RAW and TIFF files.
The Easyshare P850 allows you to connect an external flash via hot shoe, and several lens filters and adapters are also available.
