Press Release
With the new FinePix F460, Fujifilm is heralding an extremely compact and elegantly styled camera with a metal case that is as robust as it is trendy. The small camera has a 5.1 megapixel resolution and with its 3x zoom lens can realize both wide-angle and telescopic photos. The large 2.5 inch color display on the rear panel ensures excellent image checking. The new FinePix camera combines an innovative design with a full compliment of versatile photo-taking functions. Despite a case of only 19.7 millimeter thickness, the FinePix F460 is particularly ergonomic as it has a distinctly shaped grip, so that it practically nestles into the photographer’s hand. A selection wheel at the top enables quick and convenient shifting between photo-taking and replay modes and video display. Thanks to the now 10 direct settings for the respective programs the selection of the motif-dependant exposure program is as simple as it is quick. With these programs the camera can be switched in the blink of an eye to accommodate practically all important photo situations – this also enables the beginner to get fully problem-free control and correct setting of sharpness and exposure with his photos. Advanced photographers can use the manual mode for selection which allows the photo-taking parameters to be set entirely individually. The new FinePix F460 offers an optimal combination of exceptional functionality, elegant design and simplest possible operation. It will be available from November in selected professional photo outlets at the recommended price of 299 euro.
