A review of the Olympus SP-500 digital camera is available at Designtechnica.
The review verdict:
“The 10x Olympus SP-500UZ is in the thick of a tough fight with Canon, Kodak, Konica-Minolta and Sony, all battling for photographers who want powerful zooms that are great for all-around use, especially vacations. It has some good things going for it and some negatives. Most you can live with but I had a tough time dealing with the uneven focusing.”

A review of the Fuji FinePix S9000 digital camera has been published at imaging resource.
Here is an extract of the review conclusion:
“[…] The Fujifilm FinePix S9000 makes a pretty compelling case for itself, offering an excellent 10.7x zoom lens […] and loads of resolution at a price a hundred dollars or more less than the least expensive d-SLR equipped with only a modest 3x zoom. […] Control-wise, the Fuji S9000 offers a full range of exposure modes from fully automatic to fully manual, with program, aperture-priority and shutter-priority in between […].
[…] A Dave’s Pick for its good build, smooth operation, rich feature set, and affordable price.”

A review of the Canon Digital IXUS 50 digital camera, also known as the PowerShot SD400 has been posted at LetsGoDigital.
The review result:
“The strong trump of Canon, the DIGIC II processor also helps the Canon IXUS 50 to achieve its high performance. The speed at which the camera processes the images, the quality of the video clip and in particularly the high speed of the video clip, is impressive. At this moment, there is not another camera to perform the way the IXUS 50 performs, simply effective. On the whole, we are more than satisfied with this Canon digital camera.”

DCRP has published a review of the Nikon Coolpix S4 digital camera.
Here is the reviewer’s opinion:
“Ultimately the Coolpix S4 is an average camera in a sea of excellent ones. It’s unique design allows for some creative shooting, and it’s a heck of a lot smaller than any other ultra zoom. At the same time, there are better ultra zoom cameras out there, offering manual controls, image stabilization, expandability, and more. For those who value the S4’s form over its features, it’s worth a look.”

A review of the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T9 digital camera has been posted at DCRP.
Here is an extract of the review conclusion:
“[…] The camera earns my recommendation thanks to its image stabilizer, snappy performance, and good photo quality. […]
The T9 is one of only a small handful of ultra-compacts with image stabilizers […]. Other features on the T9 include an unlimited VGA movie mode, numerous scene modes, an enhanced slideshow feature, and a whopping 58MB of built-in memory. […] Camera performance is very good in all areas. […] The T9 has better-than-average battery life […].”

The Olympus SP-350 digital camera has been reviewed at DCRP.
Here is part of the review conclusion:
“The camera is chock full of features for beginners and enthusiasts alike. […] Fans of movies will enjoy the SP-350’s VGA movie mode with unlimited recording (until the memory is full), a digital image stabilizer, and editing capabilities. […] Thankfully the SP-350’s photos were pretty good. […] I was also impressed with the camera’s high ISO performance. […]
The SP-350 gets my recommendation, but with the footnote “not the best camera if you want to take or view pictures quickly”.”
